Deleting an Organisation that no longer has an administrator

We've recently taken over the adminstation of Do-it for a small organisation, who due to funding cut backs have lost some support staff. They have an account on Do-it but do not use it as they longer have access to it, as in they don't know the email address and password used to set it up whihc has an opportutniy attached to it, but not one that they want active anymore. I have created a new account for them which i have added a new opportunty to, however they want the old one removing, is there any way round this? Can a member from the Do-it team access and remove? Any help/info /advice would be appreciated.

Yes just contact the do-it support team and they will remove it for you. You have to delete any opportunities on do-it, then 'leave' the organisation on do-it first.

Thanks for that Lorna, but presumably its the same situation with the opportunity - if we don't & the organsiation in question don't have access to the account who removes the opportunity and 'leaves' the orgnastions?

Do-it support may possibly be able to do that, I'm not sure

Yes, just notify Do-It support via their website including a link of the account you want removing and they'll get it sorted for you. When we 'orphan' and organisation I normally change the title to include the phrase *Archive* or *To be deleted* and I undertsand that the Do-It team do periodically pick this up.
