We have released an online upgrade for V-Base. Detailed information of the changes is listed here.

To upgrade please follow these steps:

1. Click on 'Help' in the menu bar at the top of the screen
2. Click on 'V-Base Update Wizard' from the menu
3. Follow the instructions in the Wizard to complete the upgrade, remembering to close V-Base when prompted.

The upgrade should only take a couple of minutes if you are on a broadband connection.

If you have a dial-up connection and want to install on more than 2 or 3 PCs it may be quicker to download the update manually from:

http://v-base.org/vbase/program/upgrades/auto/

To do this right click on 'Upgrade4.exe', click on 'Save target as' (if using Internet Explorer) or 'Save link as' (if using Firefox), select a location on your computer and then run the file once downloaded. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the upgrade.

This will take a few minutes to download on a dial-up connection, but once it has been downloaded you can run this program on all of your machines that run V-Base rather than running the upgrade wizard on each machine.
